Alaska Highway, British Columbia to YukonFeaturing Watson Lake, Liard River, Bison and SheepTravel and Tourism, Vacation Guide

| After a lifetime driving around the backroads of Northern BC, I finally drove the Alaskan Highway to the Yukon in early June, 2007. | |
|---|---|
| I made a trip to the Peace River and the area south of Fort St. John in 2002. You can find some photos on this July 2002 page. BC is a big place. The city of Prince George is near the middle. It is more than 500 miles either south to Washington State or north to Yukon Territory. I was impressed with the great mountain ridge as seen in Pine Pass north of Prince George.
