The coast of BC is wet and wild from Victoria to Prince Rupert
This page covers Vancouver Island and the mid to north coast of BC. Much of this coast is remote and wild. Many places are declining in population as people move to the big cities. (Vancouver city is on the mainland -- not on Vancouver Island -- and is covered elsewhere).

Victoria is the BC capitol city.

The Butchart Gardens are found just north of Victoria.

Long Beach National Park is mid-Vancouver Island on the outer coast. Before they created the park people drove and camped on the beach.
Radar Beach is a small remote beach where my friend Terri and I hiked in and camped one night in the early seventies.

In late 1988 I took the ferry from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. This was on the BC Ferries ill-fated Queen of the North.
