Born in Pocatello, Idaho. Also known as Bessie, Bess and John.
In her younger years she lived in Manitou, MB and Perdue, SK.
In 1919, she graduated as a nurse in Saskatoon, SK. She was still working as nurse more than 60 years later.
Margaret died in Vancouver and was cremated in North Vancouver.
