Agnes was born in the city of Dusseldorf, Germany.
She was also commonly known as Agnes Sutherland or Ada Melle.
Agnes, husband Max, and their children were in Vancouver from 1925 until the early thirties.
She died in Montreal and was cremated and buried there.
