Europe 2003 (France)

We stopped for a couple nights in Arras, France.

Side trips from Arras were to the Canadian Memorial at Vimy Ridge and the great cathedral at Amiens.

Next stop Paris. We stayed in Montmartre near the Moulin Rouge and it's less famous cousin the Moulin Galette.

They had some quite cute Smart cars in France... but if the driver is not careful he might be stopped by Police on in-line skates!

We used our two-day open air bus ticket to good advantage. We found some awesome views from on top of the Arc de Triomphe.

After almost 800 years, Sainte Chapelle church still has the best windows in Paris.

We saw some great art on this trip. The Louvre has obvious highlights.

Musée d'Orsay has great art and a great building.
