| During my time working in Jackson I would often take weekend trips out to various places as far afield
as Memphis and New Orleans. Most of pictures in this period were taken with a small video camera.

Jackson is hot in humid in the summer.
The downtown area is very worn down but still includes the State Capitol buildings and hosts a fine Blues Festival.
