In this city, also known as Krung Thep, I took a photograph of the Gold Buddha; six tons of solid gold. The many temples and palaces are magnificent.

The central market carried a rich variety of food and pets... sometimes they seemed to be the same.

Bangkok is a huge city with modern malls and hotels.

Much of the life is along the river and in the sister city of Thonburi.
