To most Indians, is a circle passing through both life and death.
In New Delhi I visited the river-side cremation site for Mahatma Ghandi.

Close to Varanasi I visited the Dhamek Stupa in Sarnath.
This marks the deer park where the great Siddhartha Bhudda gave his first historic sermon.
|
Varanasi city -- also known as Benares -- is on the sacred Ganges River. There I made a morning visit to the great cremation ghats. Taking a river boat trip I viewed life and death as a tourist attraction.
