This page shows my personal view of travel in South East England, including Canterbury, London and Brighton, in 1975 and 1984.

In 1975 I arrived by ferry from Belgium. In Canterbury I visited the Cathedral and took this picture of the spot where Thomas a Beckett was killed.

London pictures include the Thames River, the Coldstream Guards, a Sunset and Albert Hall.
Statues and monuments include Eros at Picadilly Circus, the Burghers of Calais at the Parliament Buildings and the Scales of Justice atop the Old Bailey Courthouse.

Brighton and Palace Pier. A stormy and very English place. They served Fish and Chips, warm real ale and they even had a Punch and Judy puppet show.
