The theme of Expo 86 was "Transportation and Communication: World in Motion - World in Touch."

Pavilions and exhibits showed Vancouver at its best. I visited on the days with both the smallest and biggest attendance figures.

There were many ways to have fun. Fireworks and exciting rides became commonplace that summer.

Special exhibits included Peruvian gold and Egyptian Ramses era sculpture.
