What Was New: March 24, 2001Kelowna, Vancouver, Santa Cruz, California(Gregory Melle's Web Diary / Blog)

It has been an interesting start to the year. I have managed to get settled into my new apartment rental location. I spent a lot of time in the last few months doing bookkeeping and figuring out my taxes. To my surprise I have already received a fairly large tax refund. Losing money on the stock market certainly helps to lower one's taxable income. Bookkeeping should be a bit easier next year since I have recently folded up It's Okay Software Inc.
I took some great photos in late 2000 so have a look.
This view was captured just outside my current Fremont apartment.
I made a brief weekend visit to Santa Cruz in January. Lots of rain but still found a few photos requiring capture.
I also made a January visit to Kelowna and Vancouver. People were ice fishing north of Kelowna. My brother has built himself a 'tool shed' to store old cars and tools.
In Vancouver the weather was warmer and sunnier. I had trouble with airlines. That seems to be situation as normal in North American travel. I spent several hours in Seattle airport but I was eight days too early for the recent Seattle earthquake!
I finally figured out something on my web sites that has been bugging me for a couple years. There was a wayward comment in the middle of my web pages that was stopping most web search engines from completely searching all of my web pages. I made the fix and should see a dramatic increase of web traffic.
